Un mundo en llamas, capturado por fotógrafos de AP en 2021

“Algunos dicen que el mundo terminará en fuego”, escribió el poeta Robert Frost, y durante gran parte de 2021, los fotógrafos de Associated Press capturaron escenas de un mundo en llamas, en medio de rumores de ruina.

En Nueva Delhi, un hombre corre entre las piras funerarias de las víctimas del COVID-19: demasiados incendios, demasiado calor, demasiadas víctimas. En una playa cerca del pueblo de Limni, Grecia, el horizonte está iluminado por las llamas de los incendios forestales que arrasan el Mediterráneo oriental.
